My Austin

I went for a run on Town Lake this evening, as I tend to do a couple times a week.  The trail has a calming effect on me; it always has.  There’s something about the sunset as it cascades across our beautiful skyline and through the trees along the trail.  It was around this moment of calmness and aesthetic appreciation that I had an idea for a photo project.  I really love this town because of all the things that make it “Austin”.

It’s changed a lot since I was a kid.  I mean hey, it’s been over 20 years since I last lived here!  I thought, “What if I took on a project to capture all the things I love about this town?”

So…that’s what I’m going to do.  I’ll take a photograph here, a photograph there:  each of something that makes me happy to be in ATX.  Stay tuned!
